Picked up a piece of carrot cake to take to hotel. Great place to grab some desert, they have fresh pie and cake you can purchase at the counter. I did not eat there. The place was packed even though it was closing in 20 min people were still being seated and there was still a wait! Menu looks good, not as hardly as the main restaurant but lots of healthy choices. A good looking variety.

We REALLY enjoyed our meals here. My daughter said her favorite meal of our vacation was the fried green tomato BLT she had here at Old Mill Pottery House Cafe & Grille. My husband and I had two chicken breast with a delicious moonshine pecan glaze. My daughters Mac and cheese and fries were also good, fries were cooked perfectly. Our waiter was very nice and really good about refills. The glasses are pretty small, I think I ended up getting 4 or 5 refills 😬. Lovely restaurant with beautiful views of the gardens, we liked all the pottery they used, it was cool to be able to go buy some next door too.

Had a great meal at the pottery Cafe. I looked online and the pricing is more " restaurant typical" than o"tourist restaurant". I ordered the open faced roast beef which was delightful and asked for gravy on the side per suggestion of our fantastic server Colin. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. We ate outside near the coy pond and that too was very enjoyable. We loved the pottery that the food was served on so much that we went to the store where it comes from and bought a few pieces. This is a great place to eat, they have wait-list/online call ahead available and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, great service and good prices.

Food preparation was very slow (about 40 minutes) for our party of four. Service quality was poor. We were sitting outside on a very warm evening. I was drinking "iced" tea. When the ice all melted I asked for more ice. When that melted (like I said, it was a long wait for our food) the waitress said "Oh, you're out of ice again. Well, it's warm out today" and didn't bring any more. She also messed up two of the four orders. The only reason I rated the meal 3 stars is that the food we did receive was good and the outside seating was nice. Service on the other hand was 1 star.

Much better than the main Old Mill restaurant itself; better menu and different sides make for a very enjoyable change. Beautiful outside garden. Excellent service and just maybe the BEST rib eye steak sandwich anywhere. We had a party of four with four totally different entrees. Each meal was wonderful and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We'll be back!
